What To Expect When You Hire Robbins Construction

Here is a quick guide to each step of our process. Here’s what to expect:
Step #1 – Free Consultation + Estimate Range
Call us or click here to schedule a free consultation. After we meet with you, we’ll give you an estimate range for your project. If you like what your hear and want to hire Robbins, it’s on to step 2.
Step #2 – Make A Small Deposit If You Want To Proceed With Us
Depending on the size of the project, we ask for either $1,000 deposit or 3% of the estimated cost. This allows us to begin doing the detailed work of planning and designing your project.
Step #3 – Get Access To Your Project’s Online Portal
Once you are on board, we set you up with a customized online portal that will house all the important documents, communications, photos, etc. that are related to your project. You’ll have 24/7 access – it’s a great resource you can use throughout your entire project.
Step #4 – Product Selection + Detailed Design
It’s time to dig into the details and get your exact product selections and design your project on professional software. Most of our customers choose to visit our showroom to help find the right products. After you make your selections, we’ll provide a final quote which will be agreed upon before demolition day.
Before we can put in the new, it’s time to get rid of the old. We’ll work together to schedule your demolition day and kick-off your remodel.
Step #6 – Regular Communication With Your Project Manager
Throughout your project, you will have at least one face-to-face meeting a week with your project manager. Your project manager will also communicate with you daily through emails, text messages, etc. Consistent and clear communication throughout your entire project is one of our strengths.
Why put in a step about resolving problems? Because in almost any remodel or addition, there arise unforeseen challenges – unexpected things that need to be solved. Things like a scheduling snafu or a product order delay.
After 15+ years in business, we’re pretty good at anticipating many of those things and solving them before they even become an issue. But if a mistake does happen or a problem is unavoidable, we shine by quickly taking action to resolve it and communicating that to you.
Once we’re near completion, your project manager will work with you to come up with a final list of ‘to-dos’ to make sure nothing gets overlooked.
Step #9 – Walkthrough and Final Payment (When Satisfied)
We never ask for final payment until the job is done – and done right. You won’t be asked to pay in full until we’ve fulfilled our promises and you are satisfied.
