Donald Robbins
Owner
Donald Robbins started Robbins Construction in 2004. Having spent almost 30 years in the home improvement business in many different roles and industries, he created what is now a residential remodeling, repair, and renovation company with some commercial work as well. Donald is a graduate of Harding University with an accounting degree and also obtained his CPA license in 1991. His favorite things about his company are seeing the change in the homes we touch and how happy our customers are as well as working with everyone at Robbins. When Donald is not busy leading the Robbins team, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing guitar, and traveling through the Western US with a love for Montana especially.
Melissa Doty
Office Manager & Accounts Receivable/Payable
Melissa joined the Robbins Construction team in the Spring of 2018 and is a native Memphian. She handles all of our accounting as well as administrative duties. Melissa never in a million years thought she would enjoy accounting, but loves that she gets to channel her analytical side while also keeping the business organized and running from behind the scenes. Melissa has a background in Graphic Design Print Production. She has previously worked in the home decor import field for both Stylecraft and Crestview specializing in product development and sales support. Melissa enjoys the atmosphere, the team members, the fairness, learning new things related to construction, and the work/life balance the most about working for Robbins Construction. When she is not working, Melissa loves spending time with her husband, Chip, and their two children, Jackson and Madeline, as well as family and friends.
Eddie Reyes
Handyman Sales & Project Manager
Eddie Reyes joined the Robbins Construction team as the handyman division salesperson and project manager in 2023, but previously worked on our field crew for multiple years. He is originally from Texas, having moved to Memphis in 2007. Eddie enjoys meeting new people in the field and being able to connect with both contractors and clients. He believes working at Robbins has given him the opportunity to learn and sharpen his skills in the construction industry. Eddie originally worked as an arborist for a local landscaping company before being introduced to the world of woodworking by his uncle who also works for Robbins Construction. When he is not busy working, Eddie loves spending time with his dog, Tut, and his small army of chickens as well as hitting the trails on his motorcycle and camping.
Juan Pita
Project Manager
Juan joined the Robbins Construction team as a project manager in late 2022, but previously worked for Robbins as a subcontractor and a crew member for around 3 years. He is originally from Mexico and has been around construction since he was very young, having helped his father in his spare time building homes. When Juan first came to the United States in 2004, he started working as a laborer for construction companies and knew it was his passion to work with his hands in many aspects of construction. His favorite thing about Robbins Construction is being able to work on something new every day and construction well done home renovation projects with the help of a great team. When Juan is not working, he enjoys listening to Christian music, partaking in outdoor activities with his wife and kids, such as riding jet skis, camping, and riding ATVS, or watching his favorite home improvement show, “This Old House.”

Guy joined the Robbins Construction sales team in early 2023 and comes to us with 15 years of previous home building and remodeling experience. He is a lifelong Memphian and a graduate of Christian Brothers University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Before working in the construction industry, Guy was the Director of Marketing for Gameday Baseball and Gameday Healthy Kids Foundation. He enjoys the teamwork involved to deliver professional and quality construction to our customers the most about working at Robbins Construction. When Guy is not working, he likes traveling, spending time with his family, and watching his son play baseball for The University of Memphis.
