Bathroom Remodeling FAQs
Bathroom Remodeling FAQs
A: There is no way to give a one-size-fits-all answer to this question. For one, bathrooms vary so much in size. And the product choices you make will have a big impact on costs, too.
However, there is a very fast and easy way to get a good ballpark number for your particular project. Simply reach out to us and schedule a consultation and after that we’ll be able to give you an estimate range.
If the range fits your budget, we’ll work together to get you specific product choices and provide you an exact quote. For more info, visit our Bathroom Remodel Budget page OR if you want to schedule a free estimate, go here to schedule one.
A: No, we never ask for final payment until after your project is complete and you are satisfied. (It’s never a good idea to pay a contractor in full before a job is done).
What we’ll do is set up weekly payments that happen as your project progresses, and final payment is not collected until it is finished.
This builds in accountability – we have a strong incentive to keep your project moving forward – that’s peace of mind for you.
PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to finance your project through one of our lending partners, your payments will be set up as monthly payments over the course of time. We can explain the difference during your free consultation. For more information, please visit our Financing page.
A: Yes. Unlike many bathroom remodeling contractors in the Memphis area, we do not operate out of a truck or a home. We have a real office and a showroom you’re welcome to visit. Go here for more about our showroom and hours of operation.
Most of our customers visit the showroom after first having a consultation at their home, but you’re always welcome to stop by. We’re friendly!
A: We have lots of online reviews you can check out. Two of the most popular places to read reviews of bathroom remodelers in the Memphis area are Google Reviews and Houzz. We’re always open and honest, so we encourage you to look anywhere and everywhere online for reviews about us.
Visit our 5-Star Company page for more information.
A: We do work in Memphis and the greater Memphis metro area. You can go to our Service Areas page to see more. If you’re still not sure if we service your area, just give us a quick call at (901) 207-5886 and we can let you know.
A: We know one of the biggest concerns customers have about remodeling projects are endless delays – it’s one of the most common problems that people complain about when dealing with contractors.
We have a very good track record of completing remodels in a timely way. Our online reviews back that statement up.
Can we absolutely guarantee that there never will be an unexpected delay? We can’t promise that. For one, we are human and can’t say we never make a mistake. And sometimes there are issues like a delayed product order that is out of our hands.
Here is what we can promise: we have superb project managers who respond to issues, communicate them to you, and have a proven record of keeping projects on track. Please visit our Bathroom Project Management page for more details.
A: There are some Memphis remodeling contractors that will leave it to you to figure this out. Other remodeling companies will try to push you into using certain products.
We’re a happy medium between those extremes.
We have the expertise to help steer you away from low-quality products, but we also never use pressure and we’re never condescending when sharing our knowledge.
We also have a showroom – it’s a great place to shop for products in a friendly and pleasant environment.

A: We get this question pretty often from folks who haven’t yet chosen to work with us. Rest assured before your remodeling project begins with Robbins Construction you’ll know exactly what to do. No surprises. No headaches coming from left field. Simply put, before we begin you need to move your belongings out of the bathroom we’re going to be remodeling. That bathroom will be off limits during the brunt of the process and it would be ideal to let our crews do what they do best. Thankfully, in all these years we’ve never had a customer who didn’t have another bathroom to use in the meantime.
